The president of the Les Républicains (LR) party, Christian Jacob, made a report to the National Commission for Informatics and Liberties (CNIL) for fraudulent use of a file, his entourage told franceinfo on Thursday, January 13, confirming information from RTL. This report follows an email sent by the former number 2 of LR, Guillaume Peltier, to the members of the training. The latter rallied Eric Zemmour, of whom he became one of the spokespersons.

Now joined by Éric Zemmour, Guillaume Peltier “calls” in this message “Republican voters to join” the Reconquest candidate! (far-right) in the presidential election. “I call on all those who believed in the RPR, those who loved Philippe Séguin and Charles Pasqua, those who had their hearts beating during Nicolas Sarkozy’s campaigns, those who want the right to remain the right, to join us”, he added.
“Write instead to those who believe in you, who have loved you or who have had a beating heart during your campaigns, that will be enough”, replied dryly the deputy LR Julien Aubert, on Twitter, Wednesday, relaying a screenshot of this message.
Say @G_Peltier, I believed in the RPR and I joined it when you were in the FN. I campaigned in Demain France with Pasqua and in RAP with Philippe Séguin. So write instead to those who believe in you, who have loved you or who have had a beating heart during your campaigns, that will be enough. pic.twitter.com/655YK62pYo
