get together and clean up!

An ecological but also sporting approach, the great Cleanwalk in Thionville will take place this Saturday July 9 in partnership with France Bleu Lorraine. Meet in front of the Puzzle de Thionville to gather, raise awareness and above all take action!

Gather and clean, this is the mission that the CleanWalker association set itself more than 3 years ago! About fifty volunteers have since joined the association and seek to implement this motto on a daily basis: “everyone can clean up their planet”.

Under the leadership of Elisa Olivier, a Moselle branch was also created in Thionville recently and multiplies collection operations but also public awareness.

The association organizes a big Cleanwalk next Saturday July 9 in Thionville. Appointment is given at 2 p.m. in front of the Puzzle de Thionville.

But what is a Cleanwalk?

The principle is simple: alone or in a group it is a question of crisscrossing the streets, parks, banks, car park picking up all the trash on the road. These will be sorted, thrown away and the space will be cleaned up!

The goal is just as simple: to raise awareness citizens on this vital subject for our planet.

This large Cleanwalk will also be the crossing point of Alban Mauzaceco-adventurer who is currently doing a self-guided tour of France by bike in order tofight against plastic pollution and litter.
