The nauseating side of thinking. Guest on France Inter, Tuesday November 28, Gérald Darmanin returned at length to the Crépol affair. Now the term “wildness“, the Minister of the Interior condemned “the reactions of far-right militias“, after the xenophobic punitive expedition carried out last weekend in Romans-sur-Isère (Drôme), a week after the death of Thomas in Crépol, where suspects in the murder of the teenager from 16 years old.

He also returned to comments made by former presidential candidate Éric Zemmour. OnGérald Darmanin wanted to hide these names“. For the Minister of the Interior, these words are “a personal racist insult” against him.

He considers that Éric Zemmour made these remarks because his “Middle name is Moussa” and “his two grandfathers come from the other side of the Mediterranean“. “He puts people in boxes and doesn’t take them out. He thinks they are delinquents because they are foreigners (...) I took it as a racist insult against me (…) I am the grandson of French fighters who come from Algeria, he does not do it by chance”, assures Gérald Darmanin, who insists on “leave these insinuations in the nauseating side of thought” by Eric Zemmour.

“Stop whining and bring everything back to yourself”retorted the president of the Reconquest party on Tuesday noon on the social network X. “It was out of cowardice that you wanted to hide the names. All French people understood this. After the tragic death of a young Frenchman killed by thugs, your personal story is the least of our worries”says Éric Zemmour in his message.
