Gérald Dahan (Nupes, 3rd district of Charente-Maritime)

The curtain has fallen on the candidacy of Gérald Dahan. The 49-year-old comedian, famous for his phone pranks and Nupes candidate in the 3rd district of Charente-Maritime, won 21.07% of the vote according to the partial results of the Ministry of the Interior. He comes third behind Jean-Philippe Ardouin (Together!, at 24.53%) and Nathalie Collard (RN, at 22.30%), and therefore fails at the gates of the second round.

This is the second failure for the ex-star of Rire & Chansons, a native of Cognac, who had already presented himself in 2017 under the label of La France insoumise in the 10th district of Hauts-de-Seine, without success . A new defeat accentuated by revelations from Mediapart (article reserved for subscribers)which highlighted during the campaign accusations of unpaid bills and ill-treatment against the comedian.

Rachel Keke (Nupes, 7th district of Val-de-Marne)

The struggle continues for Rachel Keke. The hotel housekeeper, leader of the longest strike ever in the hotel sector and Nupes candidate in the 7th constituency of Val-de-Marne, took the lead in the first round of the legislative elections with 37.22% of the vote. voice, according to the Interior Ministry.

The 48-year-old Frenchwoman, born in Ivory Coast, could become the first chambermaid to enter the National Assembly. She will first have to win against Roxana Maracineanu, former Minister of Sports for Emmanuel Macron and candidate Together!, who obtained 23.77% of the vote.

Stéphane Ravacley (Nupes, 2nd district of Doubs)

Soon a baker in the Assembly? Stéphane Ravacley, the craftsman who had gone on a hunger strike for 11 days to defend his Guinean apprentice threatened with expulsion, is propelled to the top of the first round of the legislative elections in the 2nd district of Doubs. He obtained 32.51% of the vote, according to the results of the Ministry of the Interior.

The candidate invested by EELV as part of the Nupes therefore reached the second round, neck and neck with Eric Alauzet (Together!). The outgoing deputy, the best elected in France in 2017, obtained 31.36% of the vote.

Aymeric Caron (Nupes, 18th district of Paris)

Aymeric Caron, former columnist for the program “On n’est pas couche” and candidate for Nupes in the 18th district of Paris, won 45.05% of the vote in the first round of the legislative elections, according to the Ministry of l ‘Interior.
The animal rights activist said he was assuming his parachute drop in this constituency against Pierre-Yves Bournazel, the outgoing deputy (Together!) who highlighted his local roots. The latter obtained 35.57% of the votes cast.

Aymeric Caron had supported Jean-Luc Mélenchon in the presidential election. He then announced his rallying to Nupes with his movement, the Ecological Revolution for the Living (REV), in May.

Bruno Attal (Reconquest!, 14th district of the Rhône)

The former policeman must surrender. Bruno Attal, trade unionist and Reconquest candidate! in the legislative elections in the 14th district of the Rhône, obtained 5.38% of the votes in the first round of the legislative elections, according to the Ministry of the Interior. He therefore fails to reach the second round.

The former police officer, close to far-right figures such as the polemicist Papacito and supporter of the racist theory of the “great replacement”, declared to the Progress to present oneself “to avoid civil war”. He had made himself known to the general public for having virulently defended his colleagues accused of violence against Michel Zecler, a black music producer whose beating had been captured by surveillance cameras. He himself was under several investigations by the IGPN, according to Street Press. The second round will be opposed by Idir Boumertit (Nupes, at 35.76ù) and Yves Blein (Together!, at 25.47%).

Pierre Baudis (Together!, 1st district of Haute-Garonne)

The grandson extends the family heritage. Pierre Baudis, son and grandson of deputies from the 1st constituency of Haute-Garonne, qualified for the second round of the legislative elections with 28.05% of the vote. It presented itself under the label of the majority Together! in place of the outgoing deputy, Pierre Cabaré, targeted by a complaint for harassment and sexual assault on his former deputy.

This is the first time that the 33-year-old ex-journalist and entrepreneur has tried his luck in the elections, but his family has politics in their blood. He walks in the footsteps of the family dynasty, first with his grandfather, Pierre Baudis, who won this election in 1958 before obtaining the mayor of Toulouse in 1971. Then his father Dominique, also MP for this constituency from 1998 to 2001. He will still have to beat Hadrien Clouet, the Nupes candidate who came first with 39.79% of the vote.

Jean-Luc Duret (Various center, 2nd district of the Meuse)

His call will have been (almost) heard: Jean-Luc Duret, the candidate who had asked voters not to vote for him, came last in the first round in the 2nd constituency of the Meuse. He got… a vote.

The LREM referent of the department had presented himself in front of the candidate of the presidential majority, Anne Bois, because of an imbroglio. First convinced that he would be invested, then rejected in favor of another, finally declared ineligible two hours before the close of submissions, Jean-Luc Duret submitted his candidacy five minutes before the deadline to guarantee that the majority would be represented… before learning that it was already the case. The second round will see Anne Bois (Together!, 19.17%) and the RN candidate Florence Goulet (32.68%) who is well ahead of her.

Charles Consigny (The Republicans, 4th district of Yvelines)

He will not take his taste for clash to the Assembly. Charles Consigny, lawyer and television columnist, obtained 12.77% of the votes cast in the 4th district of Yvelines as an LR candidate, according to the Ministry of the Interior. He is therefore not qualified for the second round.

The son of advertiser Thierry Consigny, known for having participated in “We are not lying” and “Grandes Gueules”, had already signed up with Christine Boutin. He then accompanied Valérie Pécresse during the presidential campaign. The second round in this constituency will oppose Marie Lebec (Together!, 42.34%) and Céline Bourdon (Nupes, 24.93%).

Rodolphe Pires (The Republicans, 1st district of Tarn)

He did not know how to convert the test. Sports commentator Rodolphe Pires, LR candidate in the 1st constituency of Tarn, placed himself in sixth position in the first round of the legislative elections with 4.16% of the votes cast, according to the Ministry of the Interior.

The 48-year-old commentator, who embodied rugby on Canal + then on beIN Sports where he heads the rugby editorial staff, had been involved alongside the Republicans for several months in the department from which he originated. HAS The Dispatchhe said he wanted to defend “an unequivocal right-wing sensibility”denouncing the “communitarianisms”. In the constituency, it is Gérard Poujade (Nupes, 21.37%) and Frédéric Cabrolier (RN, 20.18%) who will face each other in the second round.

Laurent Baffie (Animalist Party, 3rd district of Paris)

The animals that adorned his posters won the hearts of voters, but not their votes. The humorist Laurent Baffie, candidate in the 3rd constituency of Paris for the Animalist Party, obtained 2.18% of the votes in the first round of the legislative elections. The sniper, animator and director is therefore not qualified for the second round.

This is not a surprise for the comedian, lucid from the start on his chances of victory with the Animalist Party. “If I can help them make at least 3%, I will already be very happy”he told The voice of the North in May. “I will never be a politician, but I want to help these people who defend the animal cause, it’s very important. I would never have presented myself for any other reason”he explained to The New Republic. In this constituency, the second round will oppose Léa Balage-El Mariky (Nupes), who came first with 38.66%, and Stanilas Guerini (Together!, 32.50%).

Francis Lalanne (Free France, 3rd district of Charente)

Another political failure for Francis Lalanne. The 63-year-old singer, figurehead of the “yellow vests” and then anti-vaccine movements and candidate in the 3rd district of Charente, obtained only 2.12% of the votes cast according to the Ministry of the Interior.

The artist had already been a candidate in 2017, in the 2nd district of Bas-Rhin, under the label of the Independent Ecologist Movement of Antoine Waechter. He has since multiplied conspiracy statements, calling in particular on the army to rise up against the state during the pandemic. The second round will take place without him, and will see Caroline Colombier (RN, 23.05%) and Sylvie Mocoeur (Together!, 20.43%) compete.

Julien Lassalle (Let’s resist!, 4th district of Pyrénées-Atlantiques)

He hoped to take up the torch from his brother. Julien Lassalle, brother of former deputy and presidential candidate Jean Lassalle, finally obtained only 20.27% of the votes in the first round of the legislative elections in the 4th district of Pyrénées-Atlantiques, according to the ministry. inside. He is therefore not qualified for the second round.

The candidate of the Résistons! movement, a shepherd in Lourdios-Ichère, had already tried his luck in the regional elections of 2021. He will not reach the second round, which will be opposed by Annick Trounday (Together!, 26.65%) and Inaki Echaniz (Nupes, 24.07%).
