Heading to Great Britain and the legendary Silverstone circuit. For the twelfth round of the Formula 1 season, all eyes will first be on the leader of the drivers’ standings on Sunday 7 July. A week earlier, Max Verstappen finished 5th in the Austrian Grand Prix after a collision. The reigning triple world champion will therefore be out for revenge, particularly against his friend but main rival Lando Norris, with whom he had a collision.

The British drivers are in good shape at the start of the summer and Lando Norris remains second in the drivers’ standings. Buoyed by his victory in Austria, George Russell will start from pole position and will also want to confirm in front of his home crowd. Lewis Hamilton will try to secure his first victory of the season, he who holds the record for victories on this circuit (8 wins). For the French Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly, the objective will once again be to get into the points with their Alpine, after their 18th and 20th places in qualifying.
