Flagship group of the 80s, the Ganbara group is a male group with a female voice, that of Maria Eugenia Etxeberria.
She is surrounded by Josean Martin, Alex Blasco, Juan Ezeiza and Xabi Aburruzaga.
Ganbara is a mixture of styles; Indeed, when the group was formed, almost all the members of the group came from very different musical universes and we decided to make it their strength. That is to say that they have made a mix of all their strengths to bring out the very essence of a successful marriage.
In this group we find various instruments, the traditional ones such as the trikitixa, the txirula or the alboka, with more atypical instruments like the bouzouki or even electronic like the keyboard.
Colorful concerts!
On stage, the Ganbara group likes to have fun. They play (of course) the titles taken from their 7 albums (including the last one released in 2011 on Agorrila) but also traditional songs and music well known to the public to the delight of the people who come to see them.
