With “Hamidi, here and now”, the famous Moroccan painter presents a set of unpublished canvases, all produced during his residency at the gallery, especially for this exhibition-event.
The exhibition Hamidi, here and now is visible until January 10, 2022 at Galerie 38, in Casablanca. With his latest works, Mohamed Hamidi offers a synthetic and modern vision of his work through the use of new techniques, cellulose paint and cutouts.
In parallel to this event, a monograph written by Michel Gauthier, art critic and curator at the Center Pompidou, was released by Skira Paris editions, which retraces the entire work and career of the Moroccan painter.
