Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron delight the audience at the closing gala of the European Championships

A performance full of grace on the ice. Not involved in the European Championships of their discipline, the most famous of the French skater couples, Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron, were present in Kaunas (Lithuania) to participate in the closing gala, Sunday January 14. The two Olympic champions from Beijing took the opportunity to dazzle the audience with the tempo of cellos following a score by Johann Sebastian Bach.

While they have taken a break and a return to competition is not yet on the agenda, the two athletes – gold medalists on the continental scene four times in their career – delighted the audience of the ice rink. A great way to end this week marked by the second men’s title for Frenchman Adam Siao Him Fa, Friday at the end of the free program.
