One person died on Saturday, trapped in the torrential rains that swept through southern Poland. Further away, a dam even burst. This made the situation worse. The Boris depression swept across a large area of central Europe, affecting several countries. This is the case in the Czech Republic, where four people are missing. Rescue operations continued throughout the weekend. A man found himself trapped in a very strong current and had to be rescued by helicopter. Romania paid the heaviest price, with six deaths.
