Diane Dufresne by appointment

“The concept is unique in itself: we approached Diane to explore the possibility of having a more intimate formula, a particular show for the 35e anniversary of Coup de cœur (CCF). Ultimately, it will take the form of a show-exchange. She will play her greatest hits, but through that, she will talk about her career from different angles, from different themes. People will be able to ask him questions in real time; there will therefore be a part of improvisation. It might be awe-inspiring, because Diane is best known for her eccentric, meticulously prepared performances. ”

In addition to the Gesù on Friday, November 19 at 8 p.m.

Connoisseur Ticaso (with MikeZup and DJ Shash’U)

Connoisseur Ticaso

“He is a legend of Montreal street rap. There is a whole mythology surrounding Connoisseur. He was popular in the early 2000s, especially during the MusiquePlus era, but he had never released an album. He published Normal from the east during the pandemic, and he decided to launch [en présentiel] during Coup de cœur. He will be accompanied by MikeZup, an emerging artist of Montreal street rap that I love a lot, and DJ Shash’U. We have a beautiful evening in perspective, up to date, with particularly good authors of rap lyrics. ”

At L’Astral on Thursday, November 11 at 9 p.m.

Depleted Fuudge

Fuudge

“It’s a formation known for its more rock songs. She has a few appearances at CCF and other festivals, but here she offers something different with her cover album in the company of a string quartet. It’s a big production, with a big team. We will be able to hear new songs from Fuudge, more stripped down, more classic, and old songs that have been rearranged to fit in with the show. I really like the idea of being able to say: ‘I’ve been there! Fans of Fuudge and rock in general will want to attend this concert, which will probably not come back to Montreal. ”

At Club Soda on November 6 at 8 p.m.

Luc De Larochellière – Save my soul

Luc De Larochellière

“Luc celebrates the 30 years and the vinyl release of Save my soul. For connoisseurs and even for those who know him less, this is HIS album. The first part will be devoted to Bitter America. It will therefore be two classic albums that will be linked back to back. The last time Luc came to CCF it was a big hit, especially for people who are nostalgic and want to hear his classics again. ”

At the Théâtre Outremont on November 6 at 8 p.m.

Julien sagot

Julien sagot

“It’s a show that I can’t wait to see. He recently released the album Sagot, much appreciated by fans and critics. After filming, he comes to present the show in Montreal. A lot of trusted people around me tell me that it’s one of the good shows they’ve seen, that it’s memorable, sick, broken in. Julien Sagot is one of the first names we thought of. We were very happy to have it. It promises. ”

At the Ministry on November 5 at 8 p.m.

Make way for the next generation

Lou-Adriane Cassidy

“We have many launches of emerging artists, whether it is Marie Claudel, Julia Daigle, singer of Paupière, the group Bleu Nuit, Lou-Adriane Cassidy or Efy Hecks. I think it’s good that we have a window on big artists, big proposals, but CCF’s mission will always be to focus on emergence. I like to feel that we have an echo among these artists, that we are there for them and that they are there for us. ”
