Cinema has brought much more than professional satisfaction to Franck Gastambide. The 44-year-old actor and director met Sabrina Ouazani, also an actress, whom he played in Pattaya, the second comedy he signed for the big screen. Very discreet and not stingy with tender gestures in front of the cameras, Sabrina Ouazani and Franck Gastambide are nonetheless in love. The couple has also given the reply on several occasions, as in the 5th installment of the Taxi franchise. If they have not gone through the marriage box, the two actors have already mentioned the rest of their relationship and the possibility of starting a family.
In an interview with Entertainment TV last May, Sabrina Ouazani did not hide her desire for motherhood: “I would like to embark on this new phase of my life. My biological clock is ticking, it tickles me. My best friend has two boys and when I see them giving her so much love, I melt. It’s that unconditional love, I think, that we all dream of. I hope that one day, I too will have a little being who will say to me ‘mom’.“Franck Gastambide hopes so just as much, but a detail prevents the filmmaker from projecting himself fully into this hypothesis.
I’m quite terrified
Franck Gastambide, diagnosed with High Intellectual Potential, suffers from dyslexia, a disease that “ruined life“in his own words:”I never said to myself that I would have the skills to be a screenwriter, I who have always been at the bottom of the class. What I heard the most when I was little was ‘what are we going to do with him’.“Being constantly considered incapable did not prevent him from succeeding, quite the contrary! However, Franck Gastambide suffered internally from these negative reflections on his person. A situation that he does not want a child to experience.
If he becomes a dad, Franck Gastambide fears that this unpleasant pattern will repeat itself on his daughter or son: “I’m so scared to have children who have my disability, who may have the complexities that I’ve encountered in my life.
