This weekend, the SPA opens the doors to its shelters. Something to inspire children. Sixth grade students from Larzac college in La Calaverie (Aveyron) ask their questions to Jacques-Charles Fombonne, volunteer president of the SPA (Société Protectrice des Animaux).
On the microphone, Jade first wants to know how the “abandoned animals”. She wonders why the owners “abandon them or mistreat them”.
“Can we give away the animal we have without it being serious? For example we leave and we cannot take the animal with us“, questions Nina.
“Are there all the animals at the SPA? Turtles, fish…” the schoolgirl takes the microphone again.
“How do you go about finding animal ‘adopters’?” Jade asks. Next comes another question from Nina about adoptions: “When you adopt an animal, is it very expensive to buy it?”
Finally, the show focuses on the daily life of animals in a shelter, for example if they are taken for walks.
