The UN Human Rights Council pinned France on Monday, May 1, for racial discrimination and police violence.
The list of critics was long at the UN on Monday 1er May, because for more than three hours the Human Rights Council reviewed the situation in France. The country is rather a bad student. First, some countries highlighted the rise of anti-Semitism and hatred against Muslims in the country. Very quickly, criticism centered around the police and law enforcement agencies.
Profiling during checks?
Norway, or even Sweden, are worried about police abuses, especially during demonstrations. Luxembourg even called on France to review its policing policy.
