France has “an obligation of results” vis-à-vis Ukraine, said Thursday February 15 on franceinfo the president of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly Jean-Louis Bourlanges, while Volodymyr Zelensky, the Ukrainian president, is expected in France by Emmanuel Macron to sign a bilateral security agreement on Friday.
For Jean-Louis Bourlanges, France must do “a very important military effort”as do the Swedes and Finns who “massively increased their defense program”. The MoDem deputy for Hauts-de-Seine insists: “Everything we do for Ukraine, in munitions and weapons, is Ukrainian lives saved, resistance capabilities maintained and a balance assured.”
“Ukraine must hold on”insists the president of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly, who also warns about the situation of Europeans: “We are directly confronted with the Russian threat.” He insists on the establishment of a “war economy” – thus repeating the words of Emmanuel Macron – to ensure the sovereignty of the European peoples who are “threatened again” after Jean-Louis Bourlanges.
