Security services are on high alert for the second time since this weekend. The Palace of Versailles was evacuated on Tuesday October 17 in the afternoon, after a bomb threat. Security at sporting events has also been strengthened.

Private security sector
At the end of a meeting, Valérie Pécresse, the president of Île-de-France, announced for her part that it would double the regional security brigades to protect high schools. “Today there are 50 police officers. We will increase to 100 regional security agents“, she indicates. While waiting for the recruitment of these agents, Valérie Pécresse claims to have recourse to the private security sector to protect the establishments, in particular with dog handlers.
