Friday February 11, 2022, France Bleu Gascogne is at the heart of the region’s agricultural event, namely the 49th Barcelonne du Gers fair. Meet live from 9 a.m. to noon with many guests:
- “Circuit Bleu Côté Experts” with Bastien Porte, the president of the fair committee for young farmers, Cédric Berdoulet, mayor of Barcelonne du Gers, an exhibitor of large machines and a breeder
- From 10 a.m., “Blue Circuit, Side flavors” with the team of the producer store Ô Farmer’s Market around its manager Stéphane Labrouche of the Vallons farm
The agricultural fair of Barcelona du Gers
For almost half a century, young farmers from the canton of Riscle have been organizing the second-hand agricultural equipment fair in Barcelonne du Gers, every year on the second weekend of February. The 2022 edition takes place from February 11 to 13. The event takes place at the crossroads of 2 major agricultural regions, New Aquitaine and Occitanie, and each year the fair welcomes around 100,000 visitors!
The Young Farmers of the Fair Committee have been preparing for this event for several months, which, when it was created in 1974, had only 13 exhibitors! Now, nearly 600 are ready to give you the warmest welcome.
