Four people aged 19 to 20 are in police custody on Tuesday May 10 morning after the attack on police officers Monday evening in Villiers-le-Bel in Val-d’Oise, franceinfo learned from a police source. The Sarcelles public security district is seized of the investigation. Monday, around 7 p.m., the police were informed that an individual was rodeoing with his motocross in Villiers-le-Bel. They arrive on the scene and spot him, a stopped motorcycle, resting on its stand next to a car with several people on board.
Suddenly, the police hear cries indicating to the individuals that they are there. The police try to arrest the motorcyclist but are targeted by projectiles. The motorcyclist flees. Then about fifty individuals surrounded the police and they were punched, especially in the face. Four people were arrested, including the one who is suspected of having punched. Three of them are known to the police.
