Vincent Bibeau-Olaechaea, 33, was beaten to death in a Mile End alley early in the morning of Sunday May 12. The man was homeless and had a long criminal record. Jayden Coon-Come, 22, was charged with the murder the next day.

Jean Vilsaint, a 27-year-old rapper and street gang leader, was shot dead on the evening of Tuesday, May 14 near the intersection of Avenue du Parc and Rue Legendre.

Patrick Conor O’Loughlin was stabbed to death at a South West home in the early hours of Saturday May 18. The man was 27 years old. Chad and Jayden Pinel, ages 18 and 20, were charged with the murder. It could be a dispute between neighbors that went wrong.

The same day, the lifeless body of Naima Rezzek was found in a home in Saint-Michel. She was 55 years old. Her ex-partner, Brahim Naili, went to a police station where he was arrested before being formally accused of murder. He is 71 years old.
