At least four people were injured overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday in the Kharkiv region after a series of Russian strikes, regional authorities announced Wednesday March 27.

Three people, aged 55, 56 and 64, were injured in Russian bombings during the night, detailed the governor of the Kharkiv region, Oleg Synegoubov, in a summary on Telegram. Another, aged 62, was injured following a drone attack, the official said. The Kharkiv region, which includes the eponymous city (the second largest in Ukraine), borders the Russian border and is under fire almost daily from Moscow’s army.

Ten Russian drones intercepted

In total, “13 drones” Russians attacked several Ukrainian regions during the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, Ukrainian Air Force Commander Mykola Oleshchouk said on Telegram. According to him, “ten” have been “intercepted” by Ukrainian anti-aircraft defense over the Kharkiv, Sumy and kyiv regions. However, he did not specify what happened to the three drones that passed through.

Russia, for its part, declared early in the morning that it had “destroy” over the Belgorod region 18 rockets fired by Ukraine with Vampire systems. According to the regional governor, a man was injured “by shrapnel” in this border region, targeted recently by numerous drone attacks and Ukrainian strikes.
