The former astronaut was first elected in Westmount—Ville-Marie in 2008 then re-elected in 2011, as well as in 2015 in the new riding of Notre-Dame-de-Grâce—Westmount, before being named Minister of Transport in Justin Trudeau’s Liberal government. He was elected again in 2021.
