Four authors crowned by L’Académie des lettres du Québec

The Académie des lettres du Québec preferred, for a second consecutive year, given the health measures in force, to award its literary prizes during a virtual ceremony on Tuesday. The evening, hosted by journalist and writer Michel Desautels and punctuated by artists Andrée Lévesque Sioui and Noël Habel, crowned four authors with the Alain-Grandbois (poetry), Marcel-Dubé (theater), Ringuet (novel) and Victor prizes. -Barbel (trial).



In the poetry category, L’Académie des lettres du Québec awarded the Alain-Grandbois prize to Tania Langlais for her collection While Perceval was falling. With this fourth book, the author notably immerses her readers in the world of Virginia Woolf. Patrice Roy and Karianne Trudeau Beaunoyer also carved out a place in the final for their respective work Pompeii and I am the enemy.
