Claude Robin (who signed until 2023 in Troyes) had trained the USO during the 2020/2021 season without managing to bring the Orleans club back to Ligue 2, and had left Loiret by mutual agreement with the club. He is not in unfamiliar territory in Troyes, where he directed the training center from 2007 to 2016.

Claude Robin left a good image in Orléans

“He is a hard-working, approachable, very nice person, who has left a good image with the club and USO supporters”, believes Joël Germain, football consultant for France Bleu Orléans, who knows Claude Robin well: “I’m happy that he finds a job”, he concludes. Claude Robin had been without a club since May 2021.
