Former President Injured in the Ear, America Shaken

It was a rally like so many others, in Butler (Pennsylvania, United States), Saturday July 13. Donald Trump was speaking on immigration, when suddenly, a salvo of gunfire rang out. A bullet grazed his ear. Immediately, the men in black from the Secret Service rushed to protect him. On the ground, a trickle of blood on his cheek, Donald Trump had just survived an assassination attempt. While the security agents urged him to evacuate, the former TV man quickly regained his sense of showmanship and got up, brandishing his fist. “Beat you”he grimaced at the crowd.

The photos went around the world. The assailant was shot dead on the roof from which he was reporting. One spectator died and two were injured. The country was shocked on Saturday. “It’s horrible, I don’t have the words but it’s 100% a war against the American people”said a resident. President Joe Biden immediately condemned the attack. Returning to New Jersey (United States), Donald Trump invoked God’s protection and assured that he would continue his campaign.
