He died in Toulouse

Guy Laporte, who played his entire career at Graulhet (arrived in 1972), died on the night of Friday to Saturday. “The SCG family is plunged into sadness following the sudden death of its president Guy LAPORTE, who died last night. Guy, who arrived at the SCG in 1972 as a player, contributed to the very good results during his passage. Attached to his lifelong club, it was then as president that he continued the adventure with the passion that we knew him to be. Much more than a president, always worried about his proteges, Guy was a a true dad for his players. A great gentleman has just left us and joined the pantheon of ovaly. To his daughter Lorelei, his family, the whole of the SCG presents its most sincere condolences. Goodbye Guy, you will always be with us”, writes the club on its social networks.
