“For lack of love”, Luc Besson explains in “TPMP” that his deception is linked to his childhood!

In June, Luc Besson

was cleared of rape charges against him by model actress Sand Van Roy

. On the occasion of his visit to RTL, the French director

had the opportunity to return to this matter. “I did not defend myself publicly. In these cases, there is only one thing that matters: justice. There is only one justice: true justice. Popular justice or media justice has no reality. The only reality is called justice. So, we face each other [à elle]we let her do it (…) I have been exonerated five times in a row, by five different judges“, he recalled.

This Tuesday, September 26, Luc Besson was notably invited in Do not touch My TV. On the set, the filmmaker admitted that his mistake was to have been unfaithful to his partner and that this affair affected her as well as her children who were young when the scandal broke out. had to do some work on himself.

“I cheated and it’s hard to explain why. I had to understand why. I went to see a psychologist. To try to understand because I love my wife more than anything, I love my children more than anything and why we betray the people we love”, he confided to Cyril Hanouna. The host took the opportunity to talk about his job where seduction reigns supreme.

When Baba asks him why he cheated on his wife, Luc Besson

justifies this “for lack of love at the start”. Before explaining : “I come from a family of divorced parents who started families on their own and I was sent to a boarding school. You’re fourteen years old, get over it. You’re lacking affection (…) You don’t know how it works.” Fortunately, Luc Besson emphasized that he had an exceptional woman by his side.
