This Saturday, November 18, 2023, Florent Pagny was Léa Salamé’s guest on the set of the show What an era! broadcast on France 2. In full promotion of his new studio album entitled 2 bis, in which he shares the microphone with many personalities such as Lara Fabian, Zazie, Anne Sila and Soprano, the 62-year-old artist spoke at length about his relationship with music.
In addition to this new project, Azucena Caamaño’s companion also spoke about his autobiography Pagny by Florent published by Fayard on April 5. A work in which he describes having had a sexual experience with a man. Close to several homosexual men, the singer would have questioned his own orientation at length. “As a result, I end up wondering if I’m not gay myself. And why not? I might as well be clear about it! So as not to die stupid, I try the experiment. Once, I let myself be approached, but very little time. Let’s say it was a gay minute. I quickly realized that I was absolutely straight”, he writes. A confidence that Léa Salamé wanted to return to.

A “gay minute”
After discussing the coming out (from the left, editor’s note) of Christophe Dechavanne, the host returned to the “gay minute” by Florent Pagny. “That’s a good summary.”first said the main person concerned before continuing: “It lasted a minute and I said: ‘Olala, that’s not my thing at all. Introduce me to your sister, your mother if you want, but forget it'”.
During her interview with Léa Salamé, the interpreter of My freedom of thought also spoke at length about his cancer. Despite encouraging results, Aël and Inca’s dad refuses to “cry victory”. He is also preparing to withdraw from the media scene in order to concentrate on his state of health.
