In effect, I have just been diagnosed with a tumor in the lung, a not very sympathetic cancerous tumor which cannot be operated on“ he said in a video.
Despite this sad news, the singer is still present in his red jury chair in “The Voice”. On May 7, when he appeared for the first time in the shaved head, the singer spoke openly about his fight against the disease: “There, it’s even more of a cut. But it’s okay, it doesn’t prevent us from staying in shape and still looking good“.
This Tuesday, May 10, Florent Pagny gave reassuring news from a video posted on Instagram. “I come to give you a bit of my news. I did not impose a Netflix series on you about my treatment and my story. Now that she’s almost behind me since I only have one more chemo, I can tell you that I am doing very well. So yes, I changed my look a bit, it’s the treatment that wants it but I’ll get used to it and it will pass. The protocol worked rather well since from the first two immunotherapy chemos my tumor which was as big as a kiwi turned into a hazelnut. We sent heavy immediately behind with radiotherapy and intensive chemo. We trust. It went very well because I was surrounded very well medically, but also by my half, my children and there was this phenomenon of synchronicity with these thousands of messages, testimonies of love and good vibes that allowed me to pass this story in this way” he explained before making a joyful announcement: “I’m going to finish The Voice, I’m going to finish the chemo, then I’ll go get my hair back and then if all goes well, we’ll meet again next year to finish what I started”.
