Fleetwood Mac singer Christine McVie, who composed some of the British group’s hits, died on Wednesday. She was 79 years old.
“There are no words to describe our sadness at the passing of Christine McVie. She was truly a unique, special and talented person beyond measure. She was the best musician you could have in your band and the best friend anyone could have in their life,” the band wrote on their Twitter account. “She will be greatly missed. »
Christine McVie joined the British pop-rock band in 1970. She later contributed to the composition of some of the group’s biggest hits, such as Little Lies, Everywhere, Don’t Stop, Say You Love Me as well as Songbird.
