Five people in their thirties were indicted on Wednesday 3 November by the Bordeaux prosecutor’s office. They would have intentionally set a radar on fire autonomous during the night of October 25 to 26 on the ring road, near Pessac.
BRI police officers, the Research and investigation brigade, challenged the individuals, four men and a woman, on the facts. They allegedly set the aircraft on fire with gasoline and tires. They would have met during a demonstration against the health pass and wanted to attack the state and its health policy. Just before their arrest, the alleged vandals had already tried to degrade another radar, placed him at Bruges, still on the bypass.
They are indicted for “destruction in an organized group of the property of others by means (fire) dangerous for people “ and “attempted destruction by an organized gang of the property of others by a means dangerous for people“. They were also placed under strict judicial control.
