The five minors placed in police custody in Aulnay-sous-Bois (Seine-Saint-Denis) as part of an investigation opened for “attempted theft by an organized gang” and “aggravated intentional violence” after the attack on men trapped via homosexual dating applications will be referred on Wednesday May 29, announced the Bobigny public prosecutor’s office.

The four other minor individuals, in police custody for “rape with torture and barbaric acts”, “organized gang theft” committed on April 15 against a victim and “organized gang kidnapping and sequestration” committed on April 17 against another victim, are – they – still heard.

In the first scenario, the five suspects – college students attending two different establishments in Aulnay-sous-Bois – are suspected of two attacks: one occurring on April 23, the other on April 28. In both cases, the victims had contacted an interlocutor via the Grindr application. In the first case, the victim was attacked in Blanc-Mesnil (Seine-Saint-Denis) at the meeting place. The suspects attempted to steal his phone before fleeing.

Concerning the other victim (facts of April 28), she claims to have received blows from the attackers. The victims had contacted people for a meeting via Telegram or Snapchat.

In all, nine minors were placed in police custody on Monday and Tuesday in Aulnay-sous-Bois (Seine-Saint-Denis), suspected of having attacked their victims by ambushing them on applications homosexual encounters.
