A cargo ship was seized last Saturday in Boulogne-sur-Mer. It was sailing in French territorial waters while it belongs to a Russian bank. Another yacht was seized overnight from Wednesday to Thursday in La Ciotat, as it tried to leave the shipyard where it was stationed. These are customs seizures because the vessels concerned were at fault.
Three other commercial vessels were frozen, with their owners prohibited from accessing them, in Fos-sur-Mer, Saint-Malo and Lorient.
