We’re not referring to a cold beer here, but rather to Quebec berries, particularly raspberries and strawberries, which are the stars of the brand new Festifraîches du Québec festival, an initiative of the Association of Strawberry and Raspberry Producers of Quebec to create a second highlight in the popular red berry season.

From August 12 to 14, ten local producers will welcome strawberry and raspberry lovers to their farms to take advantage of the fall varieties, available from August and often until the first frosts in October, which represent no less than half of annual production!
Participating farms are established from Laval to Gaspésie, via the Laurentians, Centre-du-Québec and Chaudière-Appalaches.
Depending on the location, you can take advantage of ephemeral mini-markets bringing together producers from the surrounding area, treat yourself in many ways (foodtrucks, grill, smoothie bar, strawberry slush, corn roasts, etc.), take part in workshops foodies and various activities for young and old, and also pick-your-own.
