A 31-year-old man was found dead Sunday morning after falling from a residential building near the Bell Center in Montreal.

The Montreal Police Department said it was contacted shortly before 6 a.m. for a person located on the ground on Saint-Antoine Street West, near the intersection of Jean-D’Estrées Street.
The victim would have fallen from about thirty floors and his death was pronounced on the spot, reports the SPVM.
According to the information gathered by the police, it would be an accidental event with no criminal element.
The file has been sent to the coroner’s office, which will try to shed light on the circumstances.
