A week after drawing up a list of 98 lawyers to be killed, the far-right website Réseau Libre called on Monday to kill four left-wing elected officials and a lawyer, while also giving their postal addresses. Lawyer Yassine Bouzrou, also targeted, has filed a complaint with the National Anti-Terrorism Prosecutor’s Office.

Alexis Corbière, Manuel Bompard, Ian Brossat, Rachel Keke are the four elected officials targeted. All are left-wing. They are or have been labeled as La France Insoumise (LFI), or as for Ian Brossat, as for the French Communist Party (PCF). The deputy for the 9th constituency of Paris, Sandrine Rousseau, sent “all his support” to the targeted persons.

The criminal lawyer targeted by the far-right website is Yassine Bouzrou, known for defending families who are victims of police violence. He was notably the lawyer for the family of Nahel, a young man shot dead in Nanterre (Hauts-de-Seine) in June 2023. Yassine Bouzrou also defended the family of Adama Traoré, a young man who died in 2016 following his arrest by police officers, in Beaumont-sur-Oise (Val-d’Oise).

Contacted by Radio France, the lawyer announced that he had filed a complaint on Monday with the National Anti-Terrorism Prosecutor’s Office (Pnat).
