This year is the first women’s Tour de France. For the second stage, on July 25, the cyclists will pass through Seine-et-Marne. A step 100% departmental which connects Meaux to Provins, via Vaux-le-Vicomte and the castle of Blandy.
On this occasion the Department offers in partnership with the communities, fan zones and animations. Three spaces are planned:
- In Meaux : From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Musée de la Grande Guerre du Pays de Meaux, a large fan zone is set up with a giant screen, many stands, something to eat with local products but also musical entertainment.
- In Blandy : from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., at the Château de Blandy there will be photobooths, stands, something to eat with local products, musical entertainment with the artist SINGE, a brass band and a giant screen to follow the stage.
- In Provins : from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., near the Tourist Office, avenue du Général de Gaule, a large screen, local food stands and musical entertainment will be provided.
These three spaces are open free to the public.
