The final turnout for this second round of the presidential election is estimated at 72%, according to an initial Ipsos-Sopra Steria estimate for Radio France, France Télévisions, France 24, Les Chaines Parlementaires and Le Parisien. In 2017, the final participation in the second round of the presidential election reached 74.56%.
This turnout, if confirmed, would be the second lowest for a second round of the presidential election, after the 1969 ballot when turnout reached 68.9%.
