It’s sad to see him there, out of his element
Philippe, first witness
Philippe is one of the first people to have seen the animal, which he initially confused with a rock. Installed a few hundred meters from the beach with his van, he then approached. “I realized that he was still breathing” he says, “his eye opened and closed, it was impressive“.
Philippe then took a few photos, without disturbing the cetacean too much, visibly in pain. “Neighbors told me that they had been watching the animal for a few days, through binoculars, evolving in the bay“Philip continued,”and they unfortunately expected it to fail“.
