The Santa Teresa festival founder and former impresario of Alex Nevsky and Loud Lary Ajust had been facing serious criminal charges since January 2021: incitement to sexual touching of a child under 16, production of child pornography, luring computer, obtaining sexual services from a child for consideration and making sexually explicit material accessible to a child.

Last Friday, the Crown prosecutor Me Jérôme Laflamme announced to Judge Sylvie Durand that he had “no evidence to offer”, thus resulting in the acquittal of the 32-year-old man on all counts. The facts alleged against Julien Aidelbaum-Valade will therefore never be made public.

“Monsieur took a very large number of measures in order to regain control,” vaguely declared defense lawyer M.e Vincent Rondeau-Paquet during the hearing of a few minutes. No details on the said “measures” or on the fears of the authorities were specified before the judge.

After “long discussions” with the defense and a “long process” by Mr. Aidelbaum-Valade, the latter however undertook to respect severe conditions under an “810.1”, explained Mr.e The flame. This provision of the Criminal Code makes it possible to impose recognizances on a person, when the authorities have “reasonable grounds” to fear the commission of a sexual offense against a child. A crime therefore does not need to have been committed.

“You are prepared to make the admission this morning that due to events that occurred between July 31 and August 3, 2020, the person who made the disclosure […] has reasonable grounds to believe in the possibility of the commission of one of the offenses against a person under the age of 16”, thus asked his client Me Roundel-Package.

Most of the conditions imposed on Julien Aidelbaum-Valade for a period of one year relate to the minor complainant, whose initials are found on two counts. Indeed, it will be forbidden for the ex-impresario to communicate with the complainant or to be within 150 meters of him.

Also, Julien Aidelbaum-Valade has undertaken not to be in contact with a teenager under the age of 16, except under the supervision of an adult, and not to hold a job where he could have a relationship of trust. or authority with a minor under the age of 16.

A well-known figure in the entertainment industry, Julien Aidelbaum-Valade was, among other things, a programmer for [co] motion, formerly the Corporation de la salle André Mathieu. Singer Alex Nevsky severed professional ties with him in May 2020.
