Events | Celebrate Oktoberfest in Bromont and Montreal

While the fall colors will be at their peak, the Bromont ski resort invites you to come and celebrate at the foot of the slopes as part of the 5e edition of its Oktoberfest during the long weekend.

You can board the gondola for a ride while tasting a beer or cider offered by the eight microbreweries (Brasserie Dunham, La Ferme, À l’abordage, etc.) and two cider houses (Lacroix, Domaine Héritage) participants. At the top, a belvedere offers visitors a breathtaking view of the mountains of the Eastern Townships and even Vermont.

To move around a bit, it is possible to go back down the mountain via the Brome trail, a perfect trail for hiking. Or try one of the mountain activities (acrobatic trampoline, climbing wall, disc golf, balancing rope park, Hisséo adventure park). And after the effort, the musical shows will get festival-goers moving, notably the Radio Radio group on Saturday at 3 p.m.

For gourmets, an Oktoberfest themed dinner show will be offered Saturday and Sunday at Bistro-bar La Débarque. Brisket, ribs and sausages will be on the menu (vegetarian menu also offered), with food and beer pairings from The Knowlton Co. for those who wish.

Oktoberfest at the Maisonneuve market

In Montreal, the first Oktoberfest at the Maisonneuve market will introduce you this Saturday to more than 100 craft beers brewed by one of the 16 participating microbreweries in a festive musical atmosphere with DJs and singers.

To enjoy with beers, oysters, hot dogs and sauerkraut as well as paella are on the menu. Children are welcome (giant inflatable games and face painting sessions on site).
