Nothing sounds like the start of the summer festivities better than the ever-awaited return of First Fridays, on the Esplanade of the Olympic Park.

On June 3, the gourmet activity dedicated to street food will be back. The event, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, will offer several novelties, including the concept of the “cultural street”, highlighting the different cultural communities of Quebec.
For this first Friday, Mexico will be in the spotlight with the merchants Mi Corazon, Mad Mexican, Lili et Gorda and Arriba burrito, among others, and the guests of honor, Maria Chavez and Hector Veladiz, from the Restaurant Maria Bonita, who has been delighting customers with her Mexican specialties for more than 20 years on Saint-Laurent Boulevard.
Otherwise, more than 40 restaurateurs will delight visitors (Les Papi Churros, Les jus de BIBI, Déso Burger, Crémy, Maquis Yasolo, etc.).
Another novelty, a 100% Quebec space where you can discover Cuisine Libre, chef Clément Boivin’s new project (La cabin next door by Pied de Cochon), local farms and a Montreal Distillery kiosk.
Musical programming, terraces and beer bars where you can quench your thirst will also be there. Free admission.
