Quebec Cider Week returns from May 2 for an eighth edition which highlights Quebec cider artisans, who are increasingly numerous and increasingly talented.
The event, which actually lasts ten days, will notably allow the discovery of new vintages at Ferme Cidricole Equinox or at the Cidrerie Intrus, workshops will be offered to visitors in several orchards, including at the Cidrerie Le Somnambule which will present advanced techniques co-fermentation and maceration or at the Black Creek Cider House which will offer a workshop on the world of pollinators, essential to fruit production.
Tastings will of course be organized in different locations, such as at the Grand Marché de Québec, at the Peluso Beaubien convenience store or at the Fromagerie Ruban Bleu in Châteauguay.
This is without counting the numerous food and cider pairing events which will take place at the ITHQ bar at the La Belle et La Barbe restaurant in Saint-Hubert, at the Domaine Sainte-Famille on Île d’Orléans or at the Nord des restaurants. Strom SPA of L’Île-des-Sœurs and Mont-Saint-Hilaire.
