The tons of clothing, medicine, food and other commodities from the Euro humanitarian convoy were unloaded this Sunday, April 3, in Siret, Romania, on the border with south-eastern Ukraine. The volunteers fulfilled their mission after nearly 2,500 kilometers of travel across Europe.

The deputy mayor of Siret said he was very impressed. “It’s very reassuring that there are people who want to help those in need”, translated Titus, a member of the Romanian-speaking convoy. A convoy of this size coming to deliver food is very rare, added the deputy in charge of social issues.
