(Los Angeles) Eugene and Dan Levy will present their father-son comedy duo at the Emmy Awards.
Canadian stars and co-creators of Schitt’s Creek will host the awards ceremony next month.
According to the Television Academy, Eugene and Dan Levy will be the first father-son duo to host the ceremony, which has been running for three-quarters of a century.
It is also the first time since Howie Mandel in 2008 that a Canadian has hosted the show.
The Levys’ move to animation comes four years after Schitt’s Creek swept nine awards at the gala, setting a record for the most trophies won by a comedy series in a single year.

The Emmy Awards gala will be taped in Los Angeles on September 15 and broadcast live on CTV and ABC.
