Behind Philippine’s coffin, her parents, devastated by pain and grief, are surrounded by a crowd of anonymous people, Friday September 27. Some were able to enter the cathedral and are upset by the speech of the young woman’s fiancé. Behind the speeches, the portrait of a luminous student emerges. Philippine’s religious commitment was recalled by the priest, and many scouts came to bid her farewell. “She taught us to surpass ourselves, while respecting our neighbors”assures a scout.

Philippine was buried privately on Friday afternoon in Montigny-le-Bretonneux (Yvelines), where her parents reside.
