In the Hérault, Thursday April 20, like Wednesday in the Bas-Rhin, the President of the Republic was greeted by boos and the sound of pans. For the inter-union, the movement must still continue.

Each time Emmanuel Macron travels, a welcoming committee awaits him. In Hérault, in Ganges, a land of the left, songs and pans have already come out for the arrival of the Head of State, Thursday, April 20. Several hundred demonstrators supervised by the police came to proclaim their rejection against the pension reform in front of the town hall of the commune. “We are here to remind him of the reality of the street. We too, we will go through in force if necessary now”said one of them.

A big mobilization on May 1

A few hundred meters away, when the president arrived at a college, the LFI deputy for the constituency offered him a book on the resistance, a nod to the resistance fighters gathered ready. Since the beginning of his visit, the electricity has been cut in the college, an action claimed by the CGT. Emmanuel Macron is forced to exchange with college students, teachers and parents of students in the courtyard of the establishment. This Thursday is also a day of action for railway workers, at Lille station (Nord), they have blocked traffic and do not intend to stop there. The high point of the mobilization is expected on May 1 at the call of the inter-union.
