On the eve of a trip to Saintes (Charente-Maritime) to present a reform of the vocational high school and apprenticeship, Emmanuel Macron prefigured some of his announcements in a long message on Facebook, Wednesday May 3.

“It’s nearly a billion a year that we will invest in vocational high schools, for the future of our young people”, writes in particular the Head of State. The internships carried out by the students will be remunerated, “because all work must pay”also announces Emmanuel Macron.

“When you choose to do a CAP or a professional baccalaureate, you must be able to easily find a job and make a good living from it”, reiterates the President of the Republic in this message. Insisting on his desire to fight against unemployment among graduates, he threatens “all training courses (…) which do not allow for further studies or professional integration” : “They will either be closed or reviewed.he assures.

Thursday, for his first trip to the field since April 27, he will be accompanied by the Ministers of National Education Pap Ndiaye, Labor Olivier Dussopt and Vocational Education Carole Grandjean.
