CJ Massinburg, back of Limoges CSP : “it was a crazy game. Nicolas Lang and Demonte Harper, our two best scorers, were forfeited. It was the moment for the other players to take a step further. We believe in our team. When a guy is not there, it is up to the others to take care of it. I think that’s what we did tonight. Everyone contributed. Thanks to that, we won the match. In the second half, we had to increase our defensive intensity. We made lots of interceptions and everyone continued to play together. It was beautiful“.
Jean-Christophe Prat, Paris coach : “big lack of discipline in this 3rd quarter time. It’s not us. We have a team that loses a few balls because we are young but that does not explain everything. Limoges did not put more intensity in the 2nd period than in the 1st. They unfolded their game plan. They were consistent over 40 minutes. Perhaps we are the ones who have lowered the intensity, but for me, we have especially lowered in rigor and discipline.”
