This is the 13th time since his arrival at Matignon. Elisabeth Borne resorted to article 49.3 of the ConstitutionWednesday October 18, not even a month after its last use, in order to have the lPublic Finance Programming Act (LPFP).

To pass her text despite the absence of an absolute majority in the National Assembly, the Prime Minister decided to hold his government responsible for having the first part of the 2024 draft budget adopted without a vote, in the absence of an absolute majority in the National Assembly. “No opposition group is ready to vote for this bill”she laments.

Elisabeth Borne is now exposed to motions of censure of the oppositions, at least two, promised by the RN and LFI. “Faced with censorship of debates and votes, we will censor the government!” asserts on the president of the LFI group in the National Assembly, Mathilde Panot. But their chances of success are very low, as long as LR deputies do not get involved.
