For Marine Le Pen, Elisabeth Borne is a “Macron bis”. Remarks made Wednesday, May 18 on France Inter, in reaction to the appointment to Matignon of the former Minister of Labor. The former far-right candidate denounces “the passive and the pastof the new French Prime Minister.

“Madame Borne, it’s Mr Macron bis, (…) it’s the same profile, it’s the same ideas, it’s the same cold, administrative, technocratic vision and in reality the same brutal achievements”adds the leader of the RN. “So I think Emmanuel Macron chose her, precisely, to carry out this social brutality which is close to his heart”.

Asked about this appointment of Elisabeth Borne as head of government, Marine Le Pen explained why she had not sent Republican congratulations to the new Prime Minister. “I oppose from the first second the policy that it will carry out”, launched Marine Le Pen. “I will be happy that a woman is appointed to this position the day when it will no longer be major information”, also commented on the former RN presidential candidate.
