Friday morning in Salon-de-Provence, in the Bouches-du-Rhône, Elisabeth Borne came to talk about France Travail, with the program visiting a company to discuss the support systems of the RSA. This will be the next government project, presented this week. Élisabeth Borne, former Minister of Labour, returns to her favorite subject: employment and training. “The objective is clear: it is to allow everyone to find their way to employment and therefore to emancipation.”
But the mines are more serious than usual: Thursday’s attack in Annecy is on everyone’s mind. In the background, the Prime Minister’s advisers are tapping on their telephones, inquiring about the children’s state of health. “I am constantly monitoring the state of health of these little children, they have all been able to be operated on. They are under permanent medical supervision, confirms Elisabeth Borne. Today, their condition is stable and the President of the Republic, as you know, went there to meet the families.

In fact, Emmanuel Macron in the Alps, Elisabeth Borne in Provence. The two movements overlap. “It surprised me that we still came to talk about the RSA”, testifies an important elected official. Risk of shift while Matignon and the Elysée are not really coordinated. The Prime Minister evacuates: “We are really still completely upset by what happened yesterday. Like, I think, a lot of French people.” Elisabeth Borne, in passing, warns the opposition, the few demonstrators too, after this attack, calling on everyone to show dignity.
